As Acquisitions & Asset Management Associate, Scott Butler is responsible for supporting the senior leadership team in analyzing acquisition opportunities, negotiating transactions, and assisting in asset management of the company’s residential portfolio.

Prior to joining Washington Property Company, Mr. Butler spent seven years consulting at Altus Group, where he performed property valuation services and managed real estate tax appeals for institutional clients.

Mr. Butler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Real Estate and Infrastructure from Johns Hopkins University. He resides in Poolesville, Maryland, with his wife and son.
