Ms. Ekstrom is responsible for managing the company’s corporate and property accounting, financial management, and tax reporting activities. She oversees all accounting, human resources and information technology for the company.

Prior to joining Washington Property Company, Ms. Ekstrom was Chief Financial Officer at Clemente Development Company, responsible for the financial management of a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate assets valued at over $500 million for properties throughout the Washington D.C Metro area. She oversaw all aspects of the financial, accounting and information technology functions, and focused on developing and implementing business initiatives to further enhance the financial performance and growth of the company. Prior to that she was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Digital Commerce Corporation running the operations of an ecommerce company that helped businesses find opportunities with the Federal Government. She has a 25-year career in finance, accounting, information technology, human resources, legal and business operations, with 20 years working in commercial real estate.

She holds a BA degree from George Mason University, and has resided in the Washington DC Metro area for over 35 years. She lives in Annandale, VA with her Labrador Retriever.
