Bruce McElvein
General Counsel
As General Counsel, Mr. McElvein oversees the legal functions of Washington Property Company, including both real estate and corporate responsibilities. He has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate and corporate law.
Prior to joining Washington Property Company, Mr. McElvein was in private law practice in Washington, DC, Los Angeles and Lexington, Kentucky. His broad experience includes representation of regional and national property owners in purchase, sale, financing and leasing of commercial real estate projects. In addition he served as a political appointee in the administrations of George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush.
Mr. McElvein graduated from Williams College and Vanderbilt University School of Law. He resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland with his wife and two daughters.
